Lex 16 DO NOT remove the top.
Using the screw provided enlarge the filling hole.
Assemble the needle and syringe and fill with ink.
Push the needle into the cartridge.
Note - the needle contains a sponge, so slight resistance will be felt.
Slowly inject the ink at the same time slowly withdraw the needle.
Do not reseal the filling hole.
Leave the cartridge to stand over night on a non absorbent surface.
Install the cartridge and run a cleaning/ priming cycle as per the printer instructions.
Lex 17 Remove top.
Use a penknife or similar to break the seal.
Insert the needle into the sponge and slowly inject the ink at the same time slowly withdraw the needle.
Do not overfill the sponge.
Reseal the top, using strong adhesive tape from one side of the cartridge and over the top and down the other side.
Leave the cartridge to stand overnight.
Install the cartridge and run a cleaning /priming cycle as per your printer.
Lex 26 & 27 Remove top.
Remove the cartridge from the printer. The filler holes are located under the top of the cartridge.
Use a penknife or similar to break the seal.
Important - Make sure you are filling the correct chamber with the correct colour ink.
To do this assemble the needle and syringe; do not fill with any ink. Insert the needle into the filling hole, withdraw the needle and wipe onto a clean white tissue, this will now confirm which colour to fill into which chamber. Do this for each chamber.
Assemble the needle and syringe, fill with appropriate coloured ink.
Insert the needle into the filling hole and slowly inject the ink at the same time slowly withdraw the needle.
The cartridge contains a sponge so slight resistance will be felt.
Make sure you don’t over fill the chambers or the ink could overflow into the other chambers.
Repeat the procedure for each colour.
Reseal the top, using strong adhesive tape from one side of the cartridge and over the top and down the other side.
Leave the cartridge to stand overnight.
Install the cartridge and run a cleaning /priming cycle as per your printer. |
