Black Cartridge
Empty cartridges left for more than 3 days do not always give a successful re-fill.
Change your cartridge after 5 re-fills, as print heads wear with use.Press the cartridge firmly into the clip until it clicks
Fill your syringe with ink and remove the needle from the syringe
Push your syringe, without the needle, into the ink-filling hole as far as it can go
Slowly fill the cartridge with ink
Repeat this procedure until you have filled the cartridge with a minimum of 25ml and a maximum of 40ml of ink
Press your syringe into air hole and pull out about 3mm of air in order to create the low pressure in the cartridge, which is necessary
Take the cartridge carefully out of the clip and clean the cartridge with tissue or kitchen roll
Put the cartridge with the print head on the old plate so any excess ink can drop off on to the plate
Put the cartridge back into your printer, after it has stopped leaking
Clean the clip and syringe with warm water
Colour Cartridge

Carefully remove the top of the cartridge with a penknife or Stanley knife, by cutting the seal.
Please check before filling that your colours correspond with the instructions.
Assemble the needle and syringe, place the needle into the ink inlet hole and push until slight resistance is felt.
Remove the needle from the cartridge, this will allow you to see a small amount of colour on the needle.
If the colours are different from those on the instructions supplied, then fill the chambers as per the appropriate colour sequence in your cartridge
Assemble the needle & syringe & fill with the appropriate colour ink.
Insert the needle into the cartridge.
The cartridge contains a sponge so slight resistance will be felt.
Slowly inject the ink, when it over flows from the filling hole then the cartridge is full.
Repeat this procedure for each colour.
Place the top back onto the cartridge and secure with strong adhesive tape.
Leave the cartridge to stand over night on a non absorbent surface.
Do not leave on tissue paper.
Return the cartridge and run a cleaning/priming cycle as per your printer instructions.
