These instructions are only for use with our refillable cartridges. We supply them with our refill kits. These refilling instructions will not work with compatible or original cartridges.
Our Ink Cartridges do not have the ink sensor inside, the ink sensor can cause big problems when trying to refill the original Epson™ cartridges!
As you know sometimes it can be a pain when you run out of ink halfway through a large print run. With the refillable ink cartridges you have no need to wait until the cartridge is empty, the cartridges will reset themselves automatically when the ink level monitor shows around 15% ink available. You never need to run out of ink, as long as you keep the cartridges topped up they will print for ever! *Some printers accept the cartridges but do not auto reset, they just show empty with an X showing in the print monitor, in this case remove the cartridges from the printer, refill then replace, just like you would with the original Epson cartridges, they will now show full again!
Please note the cartridges have been specially developed to run in printers manufactured before and after April 2007, they use the latest chip technology.
Filling Instructions: To fill/refill the cartridges remove both the fill and air inlet plugs, fill the cartridge through the holes indicated then replace both plugs, store the cartridge in a cool place. When placing the cartridge into the printer remove plug from the air inlet hole or the ink will not flow through the cartridge. Please note: The outlet valve on the printer cartridge is spring loaded so there is no leakage when you remove the cartridge from the printer.
For the initial fill we advise filling the cartridge with 10ml of ink (the max shown on the syringe). The cartridges must be used as a full set do not mix with originals or other compatibles.
